This is a great activity not only for back to school, but even as a maths craft during the year.   Students answer a range of questions related to them - e.g. their birth date, number of people in their family, favourite number etc. They then write a number sentence to match the answer onto a sticky note. The sticky note is then attached to the page to cover the answer hiding underneath.   Your students can make the number sentences as easy or complicated as their maths skills allow - making this a great differentiated activity for your whole class.   This resource also includes head and hand cutouts that you can use to turn this activity into a craft as well!   Available in "maths" and "math".
