Students will develop their ability to measure using informal units with this fun, Easter-themed activity. Using non-standard units of measurement is a great precursor for formal measurement lessons.   To use, cut out the Easter eggs and provide each student with their own recording sheet and a range of units of measurement (examples include blocks, MAB units, paperclips, match sticks etc.).   They will then select an item to use when measuring the Easter eggs.
