This book response task for Misery Guts by Morris Gleitzman has students step in to Keith’s shoes as he discovers some of the dangerous animals that reside in Australia.

Students begin by outlining three of the animals that Tracy tells Keith about before researching three others and their dangerous qualities.

They will then create a more-detailed fact file on one of the dangerous creatures, including what makes them a danger and their impact on humans.
