Description

This science of reading-aligned resource will help develop students’ phonemic awareness skills: blending and segmenting double consonant words.

To play the game, each student needs a game board and matching game cards. Students will flip a game card, read it, find the matching picture on the grid and cover it with the card. They will continue until all images are covered.

The resource comes in high and low colour versions and includes:

  1. Instructions
  2. Game boards (x6)
  3. Game cards (words to match the images on each board)
