Students will learn about the different celebrations their classmates participate in.

They will be asked to bring a key ‘artefact’ (object) from home which represents something they celebrate, for example: a Christmas decoration, a birthday card etc. These items will be stored at school for the duration of the lessons.

The teacher will take a photo of each artefact and glue it into the corner of the students work. The child will then write about the celebration and the key moments they remember. There is space to write about a new celebration as well as a template to paint a picture of their favourite celebration.
