Nothing says early childhood quite like box construction!

After reading the book "Not a Box"  by Antoinette Portis, students select their own starter boxes and draw a plan for what they would make using this box. The plan includes room to draw a picture and space to list the needed materials.

After making their constructions, each student completes an evaluation that looks at parts they liked/disliked and what they found tricky during the construction stage.
