NAIDOC Week is held from the 7th-14th July, and in 2024 has the theme: Keep the Fire Burning! Blak, Loud & Proud! This resource uses images and artwork from Ryhia Dank, a contemporary Aboriginal artist, and features the 2023 theme for NAIDOC Week. The plaque is used as the center piece for a flower themed display where each student decorates a petal to add around the outside of the plaque to show their support and pledge to KEEP THE FIRE BURNING! Display in your classroom as a point of discussion with your students during NAIDOC week and beyond.
