This resource provides a variety of images to spark students descriptive writing skills. To inspire students, the various landscapes depict: a pristine snowscape; a dazzling carnival; a sun-dappled meadow; a mist-shrouded track; a desolate lighthouse; an ancient rainforest; a sweltering desert; a chaotic traffic jam; and an idyllic beach.

Students are prompted to describe each setting in detail. Each worksheet provides support via a word bank, with differentiation included through an extension prompt, asking students to add their own sensory words.
