This resource allows students to work in small groups to read information from news reports and decipher the time period in which the news reports were written. Each set of details matches a news heading and year. Students are to place the set of news report information and headings in a timeline in order to show the progression in language and social attitudes.   This activity can be completed as a group rotation task or lesson task.
