Help your students recognise nouns and verbs in simple sentences through this engaging task card activity.

With 32 interactive task cards, this activity lets your students understand that nouns represent people, places, animals, and things while verbs represent actions. By understanding these concepts, they may be able to identify their role in a sentence.

To start, students will read the sentence and identify the highlighted word (noun or verb). Using a dabber marker (or whiteboard marker), they must then dab the picture that matches the word.
