Have your students look for the noun that does not belong to the group in this task card activity.

With 32 interactive task cards, this activity activates your students' critical thinking and categorisation skills. To start, students will look at the four cups and identify the pictures and the type of noun they are (people, places, things or animals). Using a whiteboard marker, they will then cross out the cup that seems “odd” and does not belong to the group.

This low-prep task card set is sized to fit in the Kmart rainbow photo storage. It is also suitable for both individual and small group work.
