Description

Give your students a chance to demonstrate their understanding of numbers with the Number Collector Assessment: Recognising Numbers 6–10 – a practical, visual, and hands-on worksheet designed to assess early number knowledge.

This engaging activity invites students to identify and sort a range of number representations for numbers 6 to 10. With cut-and-paste elements and multiple formats – such as ten frames, tally marks, dice, and pictures – this task provides clear insight into student understanding while also supporting fine motor development.

Perfect for use at multiple points throughout the year, this flexible assessment includes two versions of cut-and-paste images so that it can be repeated in Semester One and again in Semester Two. Use it as a standalone activity, or pair it with the Number Collector Game: Numbers 6–10 and Number Collector Sort: Numbers 6–10 to create a full unit of learning and assessment.
