Nursery Rhyme Scramble is an engaging and entertaining activity, that will provide your students with the opportunity to demonstrate their understanding of traditional nursery rhymes and rhyming words.

Students will work individually or in small groups, to put the parts of the nursery rhyme in order. Using the word cards, they can either correctly complete the nursery rhyme or create a new version using rhyming words. Students have the option to record their rhyme on the recording sheet. Please note that recording sheets can be written on directly and then placed in student workbooks as evidence or they can be placed in a write-and-wipe sleeve and written on with a whiteboard marker.

Once prepared, this resource can be used time and time again with countless rhyme combinations.
