Description

Odd & Even Tug of War 0–20 POWERPOINT is a fast-paced, team-based game that helps students develop fluency with odd and even numbers in an energetic and interactive way. With simple gameplay and flexible presentation options, this resource is perfect for early years maths practice.

Students are split into two teams and race to move a counter across the gameboard to their side. Each round, a number from 0–20 is displayed on the PowerPoint, and the first team to correctly call out whether the number is odd or even gets to move the counter one step closer to their trophy. The first team to pull the counter to their side wins the round!

Choose to display the gameboard on your classroom screen or print individual versions for small groups. The activity builds fluency, encourages quick recall, and creates opportunities for class discussion and collaborative play—all while reinforcing essential number properties.
