Use these colourful eggs to create words.This resource can be used in a bunch of different ways! Try:

• Having them face up so students can look, sound out and make words
• Choosing one word family and see how many words they can make using it.
• Turning them face down, having students take a card from each pile (one of alphabet and one of word family eggs) and seeing if the two cards make a word
• Using them as flash cards by holding up two at a time and having students sound out and blend the word
• Pulling two random cards and deciding if they create a real or nonsense word

Print on thick A4 cardstock and reuse this activity over and over again!
