Painting a Setting! is the perfect way for students to develop an understanding of language devices and utilise them to create vivid images of the setting of a story.

Students are given a choice grid of various setting descriptions; they need to bring their setting to life with their chosen setting. Using these prompts, students can use one of our 3 differentiated activity sheets to draw their setting, answer questions and even create their own descriptions for their classmates to re-create.

Also provided is a question and answer sheet that can be used as an extension task or as an early finisher.
