Description
Your students will have fun sorting out nine different jumbled paragraphs with this card game.
Each card contains either a topic sentence, one of four supporting detail sentences per paragraph or a concluding sentence. When it is their turn, students play the game by selecting a card from the pile and discarding one from their hand until they get a set. When they have a set that they think is in the correct order, they shout, “Palooza!”.
This is an engaging way to learn the structure of paragraphs so that it can be applied to writing tasks. If you like this resource, then you might also find this Plunging into Paragraphs PowerPoint DIGITAL and this Plunging into Paragraphs Poster useful.Additional information
