Description
Students will love using our printable templates and easy-to-find craft items to make their very own Paralympic medals! These low-prep crafts would be ideal to complete in the lead-up to or during the Paralympic Games.
Your students are sure to be engaged as they paint, cut, paste and decorate their very own gold medals using our medal templates. We have included various drawing and writing response options to suit the needs of your class. In addition to the medal templates, we have also included detailed instructions with a finished example and a printable ribbon template.
In addition to the printable resource, your students will also need a paper plate and ribbon (alternatively, use the printable ribbon template. We recommend that students paint their paper plates with gold or yellow paint before the lesson. To save time, print the medal templates on yellow cardstock. You may like to provide other craft items for students to decorate their medals with, such as sequins, stickers and pom poms.
To turn this fun Paralympics craft into an eye-catching display, simply print our Paralympics Banner and hang the completed medal crafts around or under it!
