Description

Pattern Crowns is an engaging, hands-on craft activity that will see students demonstrate their understanding of patterns. Additionally, students will practise developing fine motor skills as they cut and paste shapes onto their crowns.

Using the shape templates provided or craft materials (buttons, stickers, pompoms or rhinestones), students will create a colourful pattern on their crown. With four different crown options, students can become a Pattern Princess or Prince or write their name on their new piece of headwear.

We recommend printing the crown and the headband strap templates onto yellow cardstock. The shapes that students will use to create their pattern can be printed on coloured cardstock, or white cardstock can be used, and students can colour the shapes before cutting them.

Your students will feel like royalty as they dazzle passers-by with their patterned crowns.
