Pattern Maze is an engaging series of worksheets that will challenge students to apply a pattern ‘rule’ to successfully navigate through a maze, reuniting Max the Monkey with his delicious banana.

Four different mazes are included, with the patterns of -2, -3, -4 and -5 explored. As students colour the next number in the pattern, they will reveal the path that Max the Monkey needs to follow. Two versions of each maze are included, one that outlines the pattern students are looking for and another where students need to conquer the additional challenge of identifying what the pattern is. This small modification between the worksheets will provide some students with the extra layer of complexity that they require.
