Description

Your students can practise identifying the features found in persuasive texts with this flap book activity.

After cutting out the flap book and gluing it into their workbook, your students will then need to sort the features. The persuasive features are provided but jumbled up with other imaginative and informative features. When your students have decided which are for persuasive texts, they will glue them into their flap book.

This activity allows your students to consider and learn features of persuasive texts and provides a handy resource to refer to when reading texts and analysing the features.

To prepare for the activity, print a copy of the first page for each student. The next three pages include differentiated features that increase in quantity. There are two sets of features on each page. You can print the versions and number of copies that you require, cut the pages in half along the black line and distribute them to your students. The answers are provided on the final page.
