Use this format to teach students the structure of persuasive texts.

The poster and writing template help students clearly see the order of information in a persuasive text:

1. The top part of the bun is their opening sentence -  stating their opinion.
2. The filling in the burger is all of the facts or reason they have to support their opinion.
3. The bottom part of the bun is their concluding sentence - restating their opinion.
