Our Investigating Sounds Unit is exactly what you need to get started!   This 8-lesson unit explores making, changing and using sound through unique hands-on resources, including engaging activities, fun board games, scientific investigations, purposeful worksheets and more!   During this unit, students will explore sound and the science behind it. They will investigate what affects sound and how they can make, manipulate and change the sound of instruments. They will identify when sound becomes music. Students will make instruments and create a sound pattern to perform to the class based on their knowledge of making and changing sounds to create music. They will compare what humans and animals use sound for and how technology has impacted this. Students will investigate what material best muffles sound and identify how people can manage sound so they do not disturb others.   The unit pack comes in a downloadable zip folder and contains the following resources:
