Use this editable resource to create a popcorn-themed game to suit any skill you would like your students to focus on.Choose a topic you would like your students to work on, and write questions, words, numbers etc. onto yellow pieces of paper, or type directly onto our editable popcorn pieces. Scrunch these up and have students ‘pick’ a piece of popcorn and answer the question on the recording sheet. You could also use different coloured popcorn paper for differentiation within the same game.Why not write sums onto the popcorn pieces? Or a three digit number (and set the task that students need to indicate which number is in the tens column?) Or simply display a word or number, and students have to copy it down? There are endless options for this game.You might like to set up this resource with popcorn containers (purchased from Kmart) to hold the scrunched popcorn papers.
