Enter a whimsical Pizza Parlour with their friendly crew and try to bake one of their freshly baked pizzas! But there’s a catch – you must first name a certain number of CVCC and CCVC words to order a pizza.

This pizza-themed PowerPoint game encourages students’ critical thinking by asking them to name several rhyming CVCC and CCVC words. To start the game, click on the number of words that you want your students to name. This number ranges from 1 to 5. Afterwards, click on the pizza sauce to trigger the random picture generator. There is also an optional mini timer to encourage your students to think of the words as quickly as possible based on what is shown on the picture generator. When the students answer correctly, they can click on the number button below the pizza to start baking. The more correct words the students give, the more opportunities for them to bake more pizzas!

This resource engages students’ critical thinking and is a great way to improve their word vocabulary on CVCC and CCVC words.
