These plot exploration worksheets will support your students in selecting features in texts that they like and applying them to their own writing.   Your students will select their favourite plots from stories they have read, viewed or listened to and examine why they resonated with them. They will then use this inspiration to create their own plot and write a short story.   Three differentiated versions of the worksheets are available. Additional plot types are included as the worksheets progress.   When you have decided which version of the worksheets to give to which students, you can print the number of copies that you need and begin the plot exploration.
