Help your students showcase their knowledge of how to apply prefixes to spell new words with the Prefix Palace Craftivity task!

To complete this hands-on activity, students will write their assigned prefix or prefixes to the bottom of the palace template. Then, they will add one word at a time that uses their prefix or prefixes, starting at the bottom and working their way up as high as they can. Your students will love the challenge of making their palace’s towers as tall as possible by adding more words to the bonus bricks! When they cannot add any more, simply have them trim off the excess, and attach the roofs to the tops of the towers.
