It was the night before Christmas… Santa and the elves are running behind and need your help!

A look-and-write, Christmas-themed activity where students can practise finding the initial, medial and final sounds that are missing from CVC words.

Students will look at the picture on each slide, write the given sounds onto their recording sheet, and then determine the missing sound. Click to reveal the missing letter. You might also choose to use this as an oral game, with students calling out the missing sounds.
