Your students can play a fun game of Bing-Pro to practise identifying the language features of procedure texts with this resource.The bingo game boards are labelled with the language features. There are also a set of cards with 20 excerpts from various procedure texts. As the cards are read out, your students need to try to identify the language feature and put a counter on their game board if they have it. For any cards that contain more than one language feature, the students need to choose the one that they think the text is demonstrating the most. The aim of the game is to get three counters in a row and call out ‘Bing-Pro’.The cards are available with or without the answers written on them. This provides the option for displaying them on the smartboard while you read them out. Alternatively, a student could read out the cards to the class or a small group.A colour and black and white version of the resource is provided. When you have decided which version you would like to use, you can print out the game boards.
