Pyramid Addition Task Cards are a fun way to get students to partition and rearrange numbers to practice and develop fluency with addition and subtraction facts to 20.
Each task card has a pyramid on it made from six blocks. When two blocks are next to one another, their numbers are added together and that number is placed on the block above. However, in these task cards some of the numbers are missing. Students need to use their partitioning, addition and subtraction skills to work out the missing numbers and fill them in to ensure none of the blocks are left blank and to complete the pyramid.
This resource contains with 60 task cards, with each one coming in a full-colour and low-colour version.
The task cards can be printed on thick card or placed in write and wipe sleeves for repeated use and used individually or in small groups.
