Splitting objects into sets is a good strategy to introduce the concept of division to your students. This resource aims to help students learn how to divide objects into quarters.
With 10 interactive task cards, this activity allows your students to split objects into quarters. To start, students will spin the arrow spinner and identify where it landed. They must then read the word problem, split the correct number of cereals into quarters and place them on the trays.
You can also use other manipulative materials aside from the cereal cards such as buttons, bears, counters or even real cereal pieces!
This low-prep task card set is sized to fit in the Kmart rainbow photo storage. It is also suitable for both individual and small group work.
