This worksheet set, designed to be used with any text or text type, helps students to practise the comprehension strategy of asking questions before, during and after reading.

In these activities, students will ask questions designed to clarify meaning and vocabulary, deepen narratives, make predictions or hypothesise about alternate possibilities. They will ask questions before and during reading, read to locate answers, and make informed predictions after reading when their questions aren’t answered directly in the text. Templates are provided in blank, 12mm and 9mm varieties, and are available in PDF format or with completely editable text.
