In this activity, students pick a card from each colour pile and place them in the correct order to make a sentence.   They could add them to the game board on top on the coloured boxes or place them in front of them in the correct order.   They can then read the sentence to a friend and write on their recording sheet/into their workbooks. As an extension, students could choose their favourite sentence they created and draw a picture of it.   It helps students with correct sentence structure and also to create interesting sentences with nouns, verbs and adjectives. Students love reading out their silly sentences!   Print the game board and recording sheet onto white paper and the word boxes onto colour.   On the top of each word page is the colour you need to print it on to.   Available in our basic fun font and Australian state fonts.
