This resource contains eight Read and Comprehend worksheets comprised mostly of high-frequency and CVC words.   The first section of the worksheet requires students to read the text.   The second section requires students to fill in a missing word to complete a sentence. The sentence is derived from the text in the first section. Next to the sentence are three words with associated pictures. One of these matches the missing word from the sentence and students’ colour in the one which matches.   The third section requires students to sequence the pictures that match the text, by cutting and pasting them in order.   Simply download, print and distribute to your students.
