Description

Reconciliation Week Wristbands is a creative and reflective resource designed to help students engage with the values and meaning of Reconciliation Week. Held annually from May 27 to June 3—immediately after National Sorry Day—Reconciliation Week celebrates the culture, contributions and resilience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples while promoting inclusivity and unity across our nation.

These printable wristbands offer students a hands-on way to connect with this year’s theme, Bridging Now to Next. With black-and-white designs perfect for colouring and customisation, students can decorate their wristbands with symbols, colours and messages that reflect respect, understanding and a shared commitment to reconciliation. Each wristband becomes a personal and wearable reminder of the journey toward connection and healing.

Simple to prepare and full of potential for meaningful discussion, this resource is an ideal addition to your Reconciliation Week activities. Whether used during a class reflection, paired with a read-aloud or incorporated into a whole-school celebration, these wristbands promote cultural awareness, empathy and creative expression in a way that’s accessible to all learners.
