Are you looking for a meaningful craft that your students can complete in the lead up to Remembrance Day? Our Holding a Poppy Handprint craft is just what you need!

Use your students’ handprints and the templates provided to create a beautiful poppy display this Remembrance Day. Students will add their handprints to a backing template, either with black paint or by tracing them onto black paper and cutting them out. The handprints will create an open-hand effect which students can add their folded poppy template to. The finished craft shows the silhouetted hands carefully holding a 3D poppy.

The completed crafts would look wonderful on a wall or window alongside our Remembrance Day banner.
