Help your students develop their understanding of the Stolen Generations and comprehension skills with the Responding to Reviews task, which is to be completed after watching the film, ‘Rabbit-Proof Fence’. This film is rated PG. Therefore, we advise seeking parental permission before showing it to your class.

This task allows students to explore how people’s personal experiences can influence their responses to a text. They will read two simple film reviews before responding to related questions. Students will also have the opportunity to share their opinion of the film.
