In the early years, it's all about learning names - not just writing them, but also identifying them and knowing the correct order of the letters. This is an ideal activity for assessing your students' ability to order and identify letters to create their own name!
Write the letters in each student's name into the editable text boxes. Print and cut out the letters, then shuffle them on a table. Students need to locate the letters, order them correctly to spell their name and then glue them into the rocket shape. Alternatively, use the boxes blank and have students write their name one letter at a time.
This download also includes printable rocket pieces and an easy, print-and-go assessment rubric. Glue the pieces to coloured A3 card to create an eye-catching wall display craft!
