Roll, Describe & Cover is an interactive game that can be used to help students practise their oral and descriptive language skills!Students will need game pieces, counters and dice to play the game. With a partner, they will roll a die and move the number they roll in any direction on the game board. When a student lands on a picture, they must describe it using three words before covering it. Encourage students to use the SCUMPS acronym to describe the picture. If students land on a picture that is already covered, they will miss a turn. At the end of the playing time, the winner is the player with the most pictures covered.Simply print the full colour or low colour game boards on cardstock or use them in write and wipe sleeves for resource longevity. A teacher recording sheet has also been included, which can be used as an assessment or for taking anecdotal notes.This resource is available in our basic fun font and all Australian state fonts.We recommend that students have access to the SCUMPS Display or SCUMPS Posters when playing this game.Have fun!
