Our Room on the Broom Craft is an engaging and hands-on craft activity that is designed to be completed after a whole class reading of Room on the Broom by Julia Donaldson. During this low-prep craft activity, students will create a witch using a template, and then complete a short writing exercise to accompany it. The witch template is designed to be printed A4 size on cardstock and can be backed onto A3 cardstock. You can also choose to replace some of the paper elements with craft supplies. If this is your preference, your students may substitute the printable eyes for googly eyes and use orange pipe cleaners or wool for the witch’s hair.
