Description

Room on the Broom: Rhyme Time is an engaging activity that will challenge students to explore the concept of rhyme in response to a whole class reading of Room on the Broom by Julia Donaldson. Students will need to identify images that rhyme with the focus image and colour them accordingly. Once they have coloured all the rhyming words, students will attempt to write them on the lines. Using engaging and bold clipart, students will be engrossed in determining which words rhyme. In this set of worksheets students will consider the -at, -og and -ow word families. Room on the Broom: Rhyme Time is a low-preparation activity, simply print it and teach it. This task is perfect for independent work, a small group task, a morning activity, evidence for assessment or for a relief folder. Available in our basic fun font and all Australian state fonts. Check out more amazing resources related to Room on the Broom in our Room on the Broom PACKAGE.
