Elevate your students' comprehension of punctuation in dialogue with this engaging and differentiated activity.
In this interactive exercise, students take on the role of investigators, interviewing members of their school community to gather opinions on potential improvements to the school. Once their interviews are complete, they choose a question and answer and convert it into written dialogue.
To assemble, print an Interviewing, Question, Answer and Dialogue Writing page for each student. Blank templates are included for the Interviewing and Question pages for extension students to interview with their own topics and questions. Students complete the pages, cut along the dotted lines, apply glue where marked and then stack the pieces on top of one another to create a four-page flip book.
