Check for understanding of how to use punctuation to correctly show dialogue in a text using this fun, no-prep activity.Students roll dice to obtain words that must be combined to create a silly dialogue sentence. The standard activity includes a noun, speech sentence and verb, while the extension task adds an adverb. Each worksheet also comes with a blank version where students can fill in their own table before rolling. We highly recommend using characters and scenarios from texts you are reading in class to create a cohesive learning experience!Can be used independently or as part of small group rotations.
