Description

Explore the world of angles in a fun and hands-on way with this scavenger hunt task!

Print the task cards and hide them in a location of your choice; it could be your classroom, an indoor area, or even an outdoor play space. Students will embark on a hunt to discover these cards and record their observations on the accompanying worksheet.

During this activity, students will engage in angle estimation and comparison, utilising angle terminology such as acute, obtuse, straight, reflex, and revolution. Students will gain an understanding of how these angles relate to right angles. They will also face word problems that challenge them to apply angle concepts to real-life objects, adding a practical dimension to their learning experience.

Reviewing student work has been made easy with an included answer key!

Print on thick A4 cardstock for easy re-use, or enlarge to A3 to make it easier for support students to find and read the content. Colour and black & white printing options are included.

This resource pairs well with I Spy Angles!
