This partner game helps students to practise the skill of substituting. There is a 1-6 game and a 5-10 game to suit your students needs.Each game includes a dot game board where students turn over number cards and a number game board where students turn over a dot card. To help students there are versions with all black dot or white and black dots to help them visualise the parts easier. If you want to save time you could also use a deck of playing cards to turn over with the dot formation game boards! To play the game students 1. Place cards face down in a pile 2. Players take turns to turn over a card If they turn over a card that equals dots/number on their game board they cover that spot with a counter. If not return it to bottom of the pile. 3. The 1st player to fill their board wins
