This resource contains a set of peg cards that focus on reading CVCC, CCVC and high-frequency words.

Students choose a card and read the sentence on it. They then need to look carefully at the three pictures beneath and determine which one matches the sentence. Once they have figured out the matching picture, they place a peg on top of it.

There are 16 peg cards contained in this resource and they can be used individually by students or as part of reading group activities.
