Use this resource to encourage students to paint a picture of something they enjoy doing with someone special in their life.
We recommend having a class discussion about how what we do and who we do it with is often shaped by the people around us. The clothes we wear, food we enjoy, days we celebrate, sports we watch and music we listen to are all shaped by the important people in our lives and help to shape our identity.
Once they have completed their painting, students use the writing prompt to describe where they are from and what they like to do.
This activity is part of our Foundation Health Identities and Change Unit Plan.
