This a fun game that incorporates syllables and counting on a tens frame.

Each student has a treasure chest template and 10 gold coins. They take turns pulling out a picture card and sounding out the syllables. For each syllable they are able to place a gold coin onto their treasure chest tens frame. They keep playing until someone wins by filling their treasure chest!

Also included is a 15 frame if you would like more spaces for coins.
