Description

Somebody’s Land: The Land Reflection Activity is a reflective and creative worksheet that invites students to explore their connection to land, both personally and in relation to First Nations perspectives. Inspired by the picture book Somebody’s Land by Adam Goodes, Ellie Laing and David Hardy, this resource encourages students to consider how land is used, valued and respected across the past and present.

Through illustration and writing, students will reflect on traditional uses of Country by First Nations Peoples and compare them with their own daily interactions with the land. This activity supports cultural understanding, encourages empathy and fosters a deeper appreciation for the environment and those who care for it.
