Sort the Animals Cut & Paste
Description
Our Sort the Animals worksheet can be used as an activity or as an assessment.
Students need to look at the animals at the bottom of the worksheet. They then need to determine how those animals can be placed into two groups. They may sort them by their external features, such as animals with shells and animals without shells, or by prior or learned knowledge, such as animals that swim in water and animals that stay on land.
Once they have determined their groups, they label the two boxes with the group type and then cut out the animal pictures and paste them in the corresponding box.
There are three versions of this worksheet included in this resource.
This resource is a part of our Biological Sciences Foundation UNIT PLAN.
